Stricker Auto Center has been in business for over 50 years.
Melvin Stricker and his brother started the business in 1955 at the original location behind the Esquire Theatre.
After Mel and his brother parted ways, he opened his own location in Hanley Industrial Court.
Mel was an excellent mechanic, he was an adviser for Ford Motor Company and when his own mechanics needed help he was always the first one the lend the right advise.
Unfortunately, we lost Melvin in 2011, however the company is still in the Stricker family. His daughter, Deborah Croghan, is the new owner.
The heart and kindness of Stricker Auto is still there and so is the memory of Mel.
One of our mechanics, Larry, worked with Mel for 22 years and is still with us today.
Please keep us in mind for all of your automotive needs-
